Something new is being created around our hotel Building for the future – and for our guests
Starting in spring/summer 2026, modernization work will take place in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. We are closely following these developments and will keep you informed transparently, so that you can enjoy your stay at Hotel am Reiterkogel just as relaxed as always.
Even closer to the summit
Over the summer, the Reiterkogel cable car was modernised and extended. It will resume operations from the start of December and will no longer stop halfway up the mountain, but will now run all the way to the summit, where it meets the Rosswald 6er chairlift. With its new 10-seater gondolas, it will be able to transport skiers up the mountain even faster in future. The gondolas offer more space, making it easier to board with bikes, sledge or pushchairs.

The construction project at the neighbouring hotel has not yet been fully completed. Work will continue beyond the winter season. However, during the winter season, work there will be limited to the interior only. No major construction work is planned for the exterior.
